Westland Residents Directory is a private reference to public-record sources and historic collections related to Westland, Michigan. It does not host government records and has no affiliation with a government office, court, library, or records custodian.
2. Lawful Use Rules
Use the service only for a lawful purpose. You may not use it, or information found through it, to:
- Stalk, harass, intimidate, threaten, or harm any person
- Locate someone protected by a restraining or protective order
- Commit identity theft or fraud
- Make any decision regulated by the FCRA, including credit, employment, tenant, or insurance decisions
- Scrape, copy, or republish the site's content at scale
- Interfere with the site's operation or security
3. Consumer Reporting Status
This service is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, 15 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq. No material here or returned by a linked search tool is a consumer report, and it may not be used to decide eligibility for credit, employment, housing, insurance, or another FCRA-regulated purpose.
4. Linked Services
Official portals and third-party services, including sponsored search tools, use their own terms and privacy policies. Westland Residents Directory does not control their content, availability, prices, or data practices.
5. No Warranty
The service is offered “as is” and “as available,” without warranties. We do not guarantee that content is accurate, complete, or current, or that a linked portal will remain available or return a correct result.
6. Liability Limits
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operators are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from use of this service or a linked resource, including decisions based on a record found through one.

The original text, design, logo, and layout are protected by copyright. Linking to a page or using a brief attributed excerpt is welcome. Republishing full pages or systematically copying content is not permitted.

We may revise these terms by posting an updated version here. Use after that posting means you accept the update.

We may restrict or block access, without notice, for a user who violates these terms or misuses the service.
11. Governing Law
Michigan law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Westland public-record requests are also subject to the Michigan Freedom of Information Act, 1976 PA 442, MCL 15.231 et seq., and the separate confidentiality rules that govern the relevant custodian’s records.
12. Severability
If a portion of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
